It combines the tools <a title=\"PNGOUT\" href=\"http:\/\/advsys.net\/ken\/util\/pngout.htm\">PNGOUT<\/a>, <a title=\"OptiPNG\" href=\"http:\/\/optipng.sourceforge.net\/\">OptiPNG<\/a> and <a title=\"DeflOpt\" href=\"http:\/\/www.walbeehm.com\/download\/\">DeflOpt<\/a> in a nice WinForms GUI.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the compression process, most <a title=\"PNG (Portable Network Graphics) Specification, Version 1.2\" href=\"http:\/\/www.libpng.org\/pub\/png\/spec\/1.2\/PNG-Chunks.html\">chunks<\/a> are removed by default. This includes the pHYs chunk, which defines the DPI\/PPI of the image \u2013 an important property when <a title=\"Quppa&#39;s Blog: Pixel-perfect Multi-DPI Images in WPF (Part 1)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.quppa.net\/blog\/2013\/01\/03\/pixel-perfect-multi-dpi-images-in-wpf-part-1\/\">dealing with WPF<\/a>.
